Vladimirska is a band based in Krakow, Poland. Their folk-pop sound, driven by the combination of accordion, guitar, trumpet, baritone saxophone and natural, dreamy vocals, has a carnivalesque edge and has sometimes been referred to as “retro-circus-folk.” Their debut album "Night Trains" won the German Record Critics’ Award ("Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik") in November 2011. ... more
